My first encounter with blockchain technology was as a tool to help creatives own and monetize their work. All I saw was a technology that offered freedom and disruption. Since then I decided that I must identify as one of those who champion this change in society. I believe that the true potential of this technology can only be achieved with communal effort and this is why I was really interested when I saw the call for internships at the Black Women Blockchain Council (BWBC). BWBC not only offered me this, but also the chance to drive this change with smart and awesome women, to other women. Driving blockchain adoption is important to me, and I am confident that this internship with BWBC would allow me to use my skills to achieve just that and more!
